Introduction to Heritage Site

The building at 73 Quanzhou Road used to be the property of gangsters Ye Dingguo and Ye Dingtai of Tong'an, and later it became the "Customs Dormitory". Rumor has it that the building used to be the former residence of Qiu Jin, which was short of solid evidence. The entire building shows a combination of Chinese and Western styles. The top of the Western-style gatehouse is decorated with patterns of Western flowers and writes "Yi An Lu" with two round columns on the two sides. With a rectangular plane, the main building was built with bricks and wood, 29 meters in length and 26 meters in width. The three floors in the front elevation are set with connected arched corridors with red-brick square columns, red-brick walls and European-style round-arched windows.
