Introduction to Heritage Site

Built in the 1920s, Wu's Ancestral Hall is two-story high, aligned southeast-northwest, and covers an area of about 718 square meters. The exterior walls of the building are of Southeast Asian style and the dadoes and below were built with dressed stones while the above of the dadoes were built with high-quality glazed tiles; with a hip-and-gable roof, the building contains upturn eaves. For the interior of the building, the column in the first story is a combination of Chinese and Western styles; the second story is a traditional Chinese wooden structure of three-room wide, and four-column deep, connected by peripteral walls and decorated with traditional Chinese elements such as golden lacquer paintings and couplets with auspicious words.
